Lately, I've been struggling with who I am and what's my purpose. Looking for people and things to define who I am and what I am suppose to do in life, boy was I wrong! I always here my pastor speak and tell us we need to know who we are and what's our purpose. The more I heard it, the more I was lost and confused. So, I just gave up, I decided in my mind I was just going to live and I would accept anything that came my way. Then I began to see that wasn't working and I kept hearing God tell me, "you are made for more". I couldn't ignore His voice, I would hear it more and more everyday. I got to the place of submission where I said "yes God, I will learn of my purpose, I will seek and find who I am."
So the issue at hand was, how do I find the answers to my many questions? I automatically knew that every answer to life's question is found in the BIBLE!!! So I immediately pulled it out and began to search for scripture that pertained to who we are and what we are to do. My first question was , What do You want me to do? His answer was instead of asking "What do you want me to do, ask, What do you want me to do while I'm right here?" I have a purpose in placing you where you are right now. Begin to understand My purpose for your life by discovering what I want you to do now. You don't know ahead of time how I will accomplish My will, trust Me and prepare to be surprised by the ways I will demonstrate My trustworthiness. I have a purpose for the situation you are in. Seek to know what I want you to do, and then do it, confident that I will do My part. "WOW" was all I was able to say!
Then the revelation came, to know my purpose I have to know. Who I Am.... With that said, I'm on a mission to know who I am, find my purpose and do all and get all that God has for me.
Peace & Blessings,
Mesha
